Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The double executive room I stayed in was pleasantly decorated and comfortable with a very clean environment and an extra comfy bed. However, there was a bees nest outside the window, which made me feel at risk of darting birds, wasps, or bees. On the positive side, the warm breakfast served was fabulous.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with clean and well-presented rooms but a slightly dated feel. The service is excellent, and the location is fantastic with easy access to various attractions. The dining experience is generally good with some minor issues. Overall, a decent choice for a short stay.
The hotel was wonderfully decorated and spacious, offering tea and coffee facilities. However, there was a bees nest outside the window, causing some concern about potential encounters with birds or bees. The service was friendly but turned unpleasant if there was a disagreement with the family-run staff. The location was excellent for a morning departure from Exeter airport, being quiet and easy to find. The dining experience was satisfying with varied options, though some found the room lamp too small. Overall, it was a nice stopover with good value for money.
